Rising R&B star Mariah the Scientist has officially revealed her fourth studio album, HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, set to drop on August 22nd, 2025, via Epic records.

Following the success of her May release, BURNING BLUE, which became her highest‑charting single—debuting at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and soaring to No. 2 on Apple Music’s U.S. chart Mariah is poised to build momentum with this long‑awaited full-length project .
The album’s striking artwork features a green toy‑soldier figurine posed on a pink backdrop, with a second image depicting the same soldier in pieces—an artistic nod to themes of emotional warfare and resilience in love.
Titled HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, the concept appears to reflect a narrative of vulnerability and strength, showcasing Mariah’s evolution both personally and artistically.
Upon announcing the album on Instagram, Mariah invited fans to decipher the blurred-out tracklist and speculate about possible collaborations, continuing to actively engage her community in the creative process.
This upcoming release follows her 2023 album To Be Eaten Alive, which marked her first appearance on the Billboard 200. HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY will be her first full-length effort since then.
Fans can look forward to HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY on August 22nd, with physical formats—including a limited-edition green vinyl version—available for pre‑order now.
