Ghanaian-American Afro-fusion star Moliy has secured a major global milestone with her SHAKE IT TO THE MAX remix, featuring Silent Addy, Skillibeng, and Shenseea, earning a coveted spot on Spotify’s Songs of the Summer 2025 prediction list. Curated by Spotify’s editorial and data teams, the track’s infectious blend of Afrobeats and dancehall has been praised for its cross-cultural appeal, poised to dominate global airwaves and dancefloors.

The remix, released on February 21, 2025, under WONDERGIRL LLC and Warner Chappell Music, has already amassed over 90 million combined streams on Spotify and YouTube, and hit No. 1 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart on May 17, marking a historic first for all four artistes.

Originally dropped in November 2024, SHAKE IT TO THE MAX gained traction through a viral TikTok dance challenge, with the remix, produced by Disco Neil and Silent Addy, elevating its global reach by adding Jamaican dancehall titans Skillibeng and Shenseea. The track’s vibrant energy, with Moliy’s dynamic vocals and Shenseea’s fiery delivery, has topped Shazam charts in the USA, Germany, and Netherlands, and held No. 1 on the UK’s Official Afrobeats Chart for seven weeks.

Moliy’s rise, sparked by her 2022 feature on Amaarae and Kali Uchis’s  SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY remix, continues with this career-defining hit. Fans are excited about a rumored remix with Vybz Kartel, though unconfirmed, adding to the excitement.

The track’s inclusion in Spotify’s Party Hits playlist and A-list radio rotations in the UK, cements its summer anthem status. As Moliy elevates African music globally, fans can stream SHAKE IT TO THE MAX remix on Spotify.
