Controversial Kick streamer Rangesh N3ON Mutama has made history by signing a multi-million dollar record deal with EMPIRE, marking the first time a streamer has secured such an agreement with the San Francisco-based label. Announced on May 6, 2025, the deal will see EMPIRE release a collaborative project featuring N3ON and his network of creatives, with Jake Moritt of Proper Loud managing the creative team.

N3ON, known for his high-energy IRL streams and gaming content, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “I am grateful for this opportunity, and I am ready to show the world what this network of creatives can make.” The announcement, celebrated across posts, highlights N3ON’s growing influence, with perks like private jet flights, studio access, and collaborations with major artistes included in the deal.

N3ON’s transition into music is a natural extension of his existing ties to the industry, having previously joined artistes like NAV and Flo Rida on stage and attended studio sessions with Big Sean and Murda Beatz. His platform also played a pivotal role in promoting the Billboard Hot 100-charting track TWEAKER by Gelo (LiAngelo Ball), showcasing his ability to bridge streaming and music audiences.

EMPIRE’s COO, Nima Etminan, emphasized the strategic fit, noting, “We’ve been interested in partnering with a streamer for a while now but it just had to make sense.” This deal, described as a game-changer by EMPIRE’s Harrison Golding, aims to redefine how streaming and music cultures intersect, leveraging N3ON’s massive following of over 400,000 on Kick and 830,000 YouTube subscribers.

Despite his meteoric rise, N3ON’s career has been marred by controversies, including a 2024 Dubai arrest for illegal filming and a Kick ban for threatening a minor, which could complicate his pivot to music. Posts on X reflect mixed sentiment, with some fans praising his hustle while others question his controversial past. The EMPIRE deal, coming shortly after a meeting with Ye (Kanye West) in Spain, positions N3ON to expand his brand, but his ability to navigate his polarizing reputation will be critical. As he embarks on this new chapter, N3ON’s record deal signals a bold step for streamers in the music industry, with the potential to reshape how digital creators engage with traditional entertainment.
