Fashion entrepreneur Osebo The ZaraMan says his time living among Nigerians in Italy played a major role in shaping his approach to fashion.
Osebo disclosed in the Big Conversation segment of 3Music TV’s Culture Daily morning show that exposure to Nigerian communities abroad helped deepen his appreciation for style and personal presentation.
“When we talk about fashion, Nigerians are the best,” he said.
He explained that he shared accommodation with Nigerians while living in Italy and frequently socialised within Nigerian communities.
According to him, those experiences influenced how he dressed and viewed fashion as a business opportunity.
Osebo said Italy’s strong fashion culture also contributed to his development, exposing him to luxury brands and designer craftsmanship.
He described himself as someone who has always been interested in fashion and said the passion existed long before he travelled overseas.
The entrepreneur currently operates a fashion business and is known for wearing luxury designer brands and promoting bold fashion choices.
He also believes Ghana’s fashion industry has room for growth.
“When we talk about fashion in Ghana, our fashion sense is a bit down compared to Nigerians and the Congolese. But with time, we will get there,” he said.
Osebo noted that recent red-carpet events have shown signs of improvement, with more celebrities experimenting with style and presentation.
He expressed optimism that Ghana’s fashion industry will continue to evolve.
