Tricycle Operators Stage Protest At Oti Landfill Site Over Challenges

The operators claim that persistent issues at the facility, such as the malfunction of waste management equipment, have prevented them from offloading trash.

Heaps of rubbish are lining the Kaase-Kuwait stretch that leads to the Oti Landfill site, according to reports.

Due to operational issues at the dump, a number of tricycle operators have been stuck for days trying to dispose of rubbish.

Concerns about the area's sanitation have gotten worse as a result of the expansion, with locals and commuters voicing concerns about the increasing amounts of trash and the potential hazards to the environment.

The operators maintain that in order to restore regular garbage disposal services and stop the city's sanitation conditions from getting worse, the issues must be resolved immediately.
