R2Bees Shine on Global Stage at UK’s RECESSLAND Festival

R2Bees delivered an electrifying performance over the weekend as they took over the stage at the 2026 edition of Recessland Festival held at Dreamland Margate in the UK.

The celebrated Ghanaian duo were among the headline acts for Day 2 of the festival, joining an international lineup that included JT, Theodora, JELEEL!, and several other global performers.

The annual Recessland Festival, which took place during the UK’s May Bank Holiday weekend, has become one of the biggest cultural and music experiences celebrating Black music, fashion, and youth culture in the United Kingdom.

This year’s edition marked the festival’s 10th anniversary and featured a two-day takeover of Dreamland Margate with multiple stages, live performances, DJs, food experiences, and entertainment activities.

Organisers described the event as another major celebration of Black music and culture, with thousands of fans attending across the weekend.

R2Bees thrilled fans with performances of some of their biggest hits, further reinforcing their reputation as one of Africa’s most influential music groups.

The duo, made up of Paedae and Omar Sterling, continues to maintain a strong global fanbase through their blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and Ghanaian musical influences.

Their appearance at Recessland adds to a growing list of international festival performances for the group as Ghanaian music continues to gain greater visibility on major global stages.
