Ghanaian dancehall icon Samini is set to collaborate with South Africa’s renowned Soweto Gospel Choir on his forthcoming eighth studio album. This partnership is anticipated to blend Samini’s signature Afro-dancehall style with the rich harmonies of the three-time Grammy-winning choir, promising a unique musical experience.

In recent days, Samini has teased this project through cryptic social media posts, notably featuring the 8-ball from billiards. Fans speculate that the album might be titled ORIGINATE or ORIGINATOR, derived from his post labeled ORIGIN8A, cleverly incorporating the number 8.  


The Soweto Gospel Choir has a rich history of collaborations with renowned artistes, including Queen, Bono, and Peter Gabriel.  


This collaboration is highly anticipated and expected to make a significant impact on the African music scene.
