Nigerian singer-songwriter Simi is set to perform alongside EGOT-winning artiste John Legend at Global Citizen’s Move Afrika: Lagos concert on February 25th, 2025, at The Palms in Lagos. The event will also feature DJ Consequence, promising an unforgettable musical experience.  

Move Afrika is an initiative by Global Citizen aimed at pioneering a music touring circuit across Africa, fostering economic investment, job creation, and entrepreneurship in host countries. The 2025 edition focuses on strengthening health systems across the continent, advocating for increased domestic health financing and prioritizing primary care and reproductive health rights.  

Tickets for the Lagos concert are available for purchase at moveafrika.org. Fans can also earn free tickets by joining the Global Citizen movement and taking action through the Global Citizen app or website.  

This concert marks a significant expansion of the Move Afrika tour, which previously held events in East Africa, including a performance at Kigali’s BK Arena in Rwanda on February 21st, 2025. The Lagos event underscores Global Citizen’s commitment to showcasing African talent and driving transformative investments within local communities.
