Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Deondre Burgin. The 22-year-old actress shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself holding her newborn’s hands, accompanied by the caption “Kasai 🧸🤎,” indicating the baby’s name. Details such as the baby’s birth date and sex have not been disclosed. 



Jackson, renowned for her role as Zuri Ross on Disney’s Jessie and its spinoff Bunk’d, announced her pregnancy in November 2024.

In addition to her acting career, Jackson has authored a book titled Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback and competed on Dancing With the Stars in 2020. She credits her mother, Kiya Cole, who raised her as a single parent, for instilling in her the confidence and resilience that have been pivotal in her career. Reflecting on her upbringing, Jackson shared, “[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in, and fight for what is right. I thank her for that because without her, I probably wouldn’t have a lot of the confidence that I do now.” 

As Jackson embarks on this new journey into motherhood, fans and well-wishers have flooded her social media with messages of congratulations and support.
