Nigerian singer Tems has canceled her upcoming concert in Kigali, Rwanda, which was scheduled for March 22nd, 2025. The decision comes amid concerns over Rwanda’s alleged support of the M23 rebel group in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).  

Tems announced the cancellation on her social media platforms, expressing solidarity with the Congolese people affected by the ongoing conflict. She emphasized the importance of standing against violence and supporting peace efforts in the region.

The cancellation has garnered mixed reactions from fans and the public. While some commend Tems for taking a stand on humanitarian grounds, others have expressed disappointment over the missed opportunity to see her perform live.
