Rapper Julio Foolio's 26th birthday celebration turned deadly when he was fatally shot at a Holiday Inn parking lot on June 23, 2024.

According to reports, Foolio had been asked to leave an Airbnb residence earlier in the day due to the large number of people gathered for his birthday party. He then booked a room at the nearby Holiday Inn, where the tragic incident occurred.

Eyewitnesses claim Foolio was ambushed in the parking lot, with shots ringing out shortly after he arrived. The rapper, whose real name is Charles Jones, was pronounced dead at the scene.

This senseless act of violence marks a devastating end to a life cut short. Foolio had previously survived two shooting incidents in Jacksonville, making this tragic event all the more shocking.

The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made yet. As the music world mourns the loss of another talented artiste, fans and friends are left to grapple with the senseless violence that took Foolio's life.
