South African pop star Tyla has unveiled the music video for her latest single, BLISS, directed by the renowned Director X. The visually arresting video features Tyla in a desert setting, showcasing her dynamic dance moves and sultry aesthetics. In a dramatic climax, she turns to witness a fiery explosion behind her, adding to the video’s intensity.




BLISS released on May 9th, 2025, marks Tyla’s first solo single since her self-titled debut album.

The song was initially teased during her Coachella performance in April, building anticipation for its official release. The music video, now available on YouTube, continues to garner attention for its bold visuals and choreography.

Beyond BLISS, Tyla’s career continues to ascend. Tyla’s previous successes include her triple-platinum hit WATER, which earned her the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in 2024. Her debut album achieved the highest charting position for an African female soloist on the Billboard 200.
