Saturday 25th May 2024 marked the extraordinary climax to the grand 25th anniversary celebration of the African Union Hall popularly known as Pentagon Hall in collaboration with 3Music TV.

The week-long celebrations kickstarted with a Gospel Rock Show which literally rocked the hall and gave students and interested parties a look into what lay ahead in the coming days.

The 19th saw the finest Gospel artistes show up to praise and worship with attendees. The night was one filled with praise, prayer, worship and gratitude, setting the perfect tone for the activities that followed.

A cleanup exercise, health screening, donation, cooking and eating competition and a sports and e-gaming competition were what took place next in the course of the week, adding on to the anticipation which had been building up all week following the announcement of artistes - King Promise, KiDi, Fameye, OliveTheBoy, DopeNation, along with several other talented artistes and dancers.

Saturday saw an auto show and car wash earlier in the day, displaying several luxury cars which were cleaned by ladies who were dedicated to their duties.

Progression of time into the night, revealed a well-erected stage for what turned out to be a showdown with performances from Drupz, Kojo Trip, Romeo Swag, Lali X Lola, DSL, Maya Blu, Militant Dance Family, Kwesi Amewuga, Fameye, Mr. Drew, DopeNation, Baba Tunde, Incredible Zigi, King Promise, OliveTheBoy, Sarkodie, Gyakie, KiDi, AlorG & BhadMayors, OV, Guru, La Meme Gang and John Dumelo who passed through to join in the celebrations. Also in attendance were personalities like Calum Hudson who was present to support King Promise.

The event was MC'd by PLUZZ FM’s MC Miguel and 3Music TV's MC Kosty who made sure attendees were entertained and transitioned through the night with electric energy and excitement. Kojo Manuel and Berima Sean Bills also delivered in pumping up the crowd.

DJs Wallpaper and Juicy took turns in playing back-to-back hits with the various artistes’ DJs blending through songs of their assigned artistes.

The show climaxed on a high note with an overwhelming crowd for the Legacy Night celebrations, marking the end of arguably the biggest Pentagon Hall week celebration in its 25 years.

Truly befitting of a Silver Jubilee Celebration.
