Award-winning Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially kicked off the Nigerian leg of his much-anticipated 5IVE ALIVE TOUR, delivering a thrilling performance at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The concert, held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, drew a massive crowd of over 30,000 fans, transforming the stadium into a pulsating arena of music, lights and celebration. Davido commanded the stage with his signature energy, performing an electrifying set that featured timeless hits like FALL, UNAVAILABLE, and AYE alongside new tracks from his recent projects.
The night was a sensory spectacle complete with fireworks, immersive visuals and vibrant choreography capturing the spirit of Afrobeats and reaffirming Davido’s place as one of Africa’s most dynamic live performers.

Before the show, Davido attended a reception hosted by the Akwa Ibom State Government, where he expressed his gratitude and excitement about beginning his tour in Uyo.
“Uyo is such a beautiful and peaceful city,” he said. “The energy here is amazing it feels like the perfect place to start this journey. I’m grateful for the love and support.”
Governor Umo Eno welcomed the artiste and his team, praising Davido for spotlighting Akwa Ibom as a center for entertainment and culture.
