The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued its 24-hour weather outlook for Thursday, 27 November 2025, cautioning the public about early morning mist and fog patches across several parts of the country, particularly the coastal, forest and hilly areas.
According to the forecast, the reduced visibility caused by the fog is expected to clear as the morning progresses. From mid-morning into the afternoon, sunny conditions will dominate across most parts of Ghana.
However, GMet warns that localised thunderstorms or rain are expected over sections of the coastline, middle belt and transition zones later in the afternoon into the evening. Residents in these areas are advised to take precautions, especially road users and communities prone to flooding or strong winds.
The northern half of the country, including cities such as Tamale, Bolgatanga, Yendi and Wa, will remain fairly dry and slightly hazy throughout the day. The Agency also notes that relatively cool night and early morning temperatures are expected over the upper regions.
