The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued its 24-hour weather outlook for Thursday, 27 November 2025, cautioning the public about early morning mist and fog patches across several parts of the country, particularly the coastal, forest and hilly areas.
According to the forecast, the reduced visibility caused by the fog is expected to clear as the morning progresses. From mid-morning into the afternoon, sunny conditions will dominate across most parts of Ghana.
However, GMet warns that localised thunderstorms or rain are expected over sections of the coastline, middle belt and transition zones later in the afternoon into the evening. Residents in these areas are advised to take precautions, especially road users and communities prone to flooding or strong winds.
The northern half of the country, including cities such as Tamale, Bolgatanga, Yendi and Wa, will remain fairly dry and slightly hazy throughout the day. The Agency also notes that relatively cool night and early morning temperatures are expected over the upper regions.

Morning temperatures will range between 20°C and 25°C nationwide with Afternoon temperatures peaking between 30°C and 37°C in most areas while Evening temperatures cool between 26°C and 30°C.
The Agency reports that the state of the sea is rough, advising fishermen and coastal communities to exercise caution.
The forecast, issued at 5a.m on 27th November, was signed by Duty Forecaster Mercy Effah Pardie.
GMet encourages the public to monitor its official communication channels for updates, especially as weather conditions can rapidly change during this period.
