In celebration of Ghana’s 68th Independence Day on March 6th, 2025, the audio drama Goodbye, Gold Coast is set for global release. Directed by Joewackle J. Kusi and co-written with Fui CanTamakloe, this 30-minute production delves into the emotional tensions in Ghana as it stands on the cusp of its new national identity. 
To mark the occasion, a live listening event is scheduled at the Goethe-Institut in Accra on March 7th, 2025, at 7:45 PM. The event will feature a live reading of excerpts from the drama, offering attendees an immersive experience of the production. 
The cast includes notable talents such as Adomaa, bringing depth and authenticity to the narrative.  Goodbye, Gold Coast is produced by the Church of Stories, known for their commitment to enriching Ghana’s storytelling landscape. 
This release not only commemorates Ghana’s independence but also invites audiences worldwide to reflect on the nation’s journey and evolving identity.
