Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna Reportedly Decline 2025 Coachella Headlining Offer

Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna Reportedly Decline 2025 Coachella Headlining Offer
Kendrick Lamar X Rihana
Coachella, one of the world’s most prominent music festivals, is known for securing major headliners each year. However, for its 2025 edition, two of the industry’s biggest names—Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna—have reportedly passed on the opportunity to headline.

According to Bloomberg, Paul Tollett, president of Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, began scouting for potential headliners as early as April of this year. Sources familiar with the situation stated that both Lamar and Rihanna were top choices for the coveted spot. Unfortunately, both artists declined the offer, leaving the festival without its headlining acts just six months before its scheduled dates.

With time running out, Tollett and his team are reportedly scrambling to find replacements who can bring the same star power. Coachella has a reputation for pulling in major talent, and with the stakes high, the festival’s organizers are facing increased pressure to secure a major act before the festival lineup is announced.

As fans eagerly await updates, the search for Coachella’s 2025 headliners remains one of the festival season’s biggest question marks.
