The Queen of reinvention is back, this time in true gothic style. According to Variety, global pop icon Lady Gaga will release a brand-new track titled DEAD DANCE as part of the official soundtrack for the highly anticipated second season of Wednesday on Netflix.
The collaboration is already sending shockwaves through the internet, with fans of both Gaga and the Addams Family spinoff thrilled by the unexpected pairing.
This marks Lady Gaga’s first original song release since her 2022 Top Gun: Maverick ballad Hold My Hand, and her involvement in Wednesday adds a new layer of anticipation to Season 2, which is already one of Netflix’s most hyped returns.
With Wednesday known for its stylish, offbeat aesthetic and cult music moments — including the viral dance scene from Season 1 — the addition of a Gaga track hints at another show-stopping sequence on the way. Many are already speculating that “Dead Dance” could serve as the soundtrack to a pivotal scene involving Jenna Ortega’s iconic character.
As of now, there is no confirmed release date for the full Wednesday Season 2 soundtrack, but fans can expect DEAD DANCE to drop alongside or just ahead of the new season’s premiere.
