Lil Nas X Pleads Not Guilty to Four Felony Charges, Released on $75,000 Bail
Lil Nas X
Grammy-winning artiste Lil Nas X (Montero Lamar Hill) entered a not guilty plea today in Los Angeles Superior Court after being formally charged with four felonies in connection with an unusual public incident last week.

On August 21st, officers responded to reports of a nearly nude man walking along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. The individual, wearing only cowboy boots and underwear, was later identified as Lil Nas X. Authorities allege he became combative, charging at officers and allegedly injuring three of them and was subsequently taken to a hospital for a suspected overdose before being booked.

At his arraignment, Lil Nas X waived his appearance and pled not guilty to all counts. A judge set bail at $75,000, and he was released after attending the hearing.

As conditions of his release, the court ordered him to participate in Narcotics Anonymous meetings or an outpatient drug treatment program.
If convicted, Lil Nas X could face up to three years in prison per felony charge, along with potential fines of up to $10,000 per count.

His attorney, Christy O’Connor, emphasized that there is no evidence of illicit drug use and described the incident as an isolated aberration in his otherwise clean record.
Meanwhile, his father identified as Robert Stafford spoke outside the courthouse, conveying remorse and asking fans to keep him in their prayers.
