Fresh off the season 2 renewal of Netflix’s hit series FOREVER, rising star Lovie Simone is diving into darker territory with her next project. The actress has been tapped to lead Oddities, a genre-bending horror thriller from filmmaker Tyler Savage.

Simone will star alongside Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), Xander Berkeley (The Walking Dead), and Lilimar Hernandez (Cleopatra in Space) in the feature, which expands on Savage’s acclaimed 2023 short film of the same name.

ODDITIES follows the chilling story of two self-destructive best friends—portrayed by Simone and Hernandez—who accidentally kill someone and seek refuge in a mysterious roadside antique shop. As the pair spirals deeper into their guilt and paranoia, the shop reveals a series of dark and supernatural secrets that threaten to consume them entirely.

Known for his unsettling storytelling, Savage aims to blend psychological horror with surreal suspense in Oddities, pushing the boundaries of the genre. The film promises an eerie atmosphere and a layered narrative exploring guilt, friendship, and the horrors that lie just beneath the surface of the everyday.

Production on ODDITIES is currently underway, with a release date yet to be announced.
