Breaking away from the conventional party politics, Bediako's decision to run as an Independent candidate aligns with his vision for a fresh and dynamic approach to governance. The New Force Movement, founded by Bediako, aims to introduce innovative perspectives free from the constraints often associated with established political parties.
In an interview with Graphic Online, Bediako expressed, “We are still hopeful about establishing a political party to disrupt the prevailing two-party system, but the process is not straightforward; there are numerous complexities involved.”
Highlighting the current state of the nation, Bediako emphasized the failure to fulfill commitments that lead to success. He pointed out that the country is not adequately supporting its citizens in achieving success, leading to economic challenges and the suffering of the people. Describing the situation as regrettable, Bediako underscored that the New Force Movement seeks to alter this narrative, especially addressing the issue of widespread youth unemployment despite high qualifications.
Drawing inspiration from Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Bediako remains optimistic about initiating a transformative change in the political landscape. His Independent candidacy is a bold step towards reshaping the future of the nation and creating a platform for inclusive and impactful governance.
