Naomi Sharon, OVO Sound’s first female signee, has released her EP THE ONLY LOVE WE KNOW on May 9, 2025, marking a vibrant new chapter in her blossoming career. Announced via social media on April 15, 2025, the five-track project, exclusively produced by Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan, explores themes of self-love, independence, and emotional resilience.

Sharon shared her excitement, describing the EP as “a journey through the beautiful, the broken, and everything in between”. Following her debut OBSIDIAN, this sophomore release blends deep house, world music, and electronic influences, drawing from her childhood exposure to her father’s love for Buddha-Bar compilations.

The EP’s title track, THE ONLY LOVE WE KNOW, dropped on April 17, 2025, setting the tone with its sleek visuals and Sharon’s dexterous vocals, which exude a serene yet sophisticated allure. Tracks like IF THIS IS LOVE and TIME AND TRUST delve into the complexities of love and self-discovery, with lyrics reflecting a mature understanding that true love stems from within.

Sharon explained, “This EP is more about finding happiness within yourself and embracing the positive things in life”. Fans have praised its raw vulnerability, with some calling it “serene” and highlighting the standout track  BITTERSWEET for its heartfelt delivery.

Rooted in her Rotterdam upbringing, Sharon’s music carries a distinct aesthetic that feels both relaxed and refined, translating her influences into a cohesive sonic experience. The EP, available for streaming on platforms like SoundCloud and Spotify, has been lauded for its dark glamour and emotional depth, maintaining her signature theme of forging connections through acceptance and positivity.

As Sharon continues to carve her niche in the global music scene, THE ONLY LOVE WE KNOW positions her as a rising star, blending introspective storytelling with a polished, genre-defying sound. With this release, she invites listeners to embrace their own journeys of love and self-empowerment.
