Hilton Coliseum, Ames, Iowa, NBA All-Star and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is officially engaged. The 24-year-old basketball star proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones, in a heartfelt moment at his alma mater, Iowa State University, where his journey to NBA stardom first began.



The proposal took place at Hilton Coliseum, the iconic arena where Haliburton made a name for himself as a standout player for the Iowa State Cyclones. Surrounded by friends, family, and echoes of his college legacy, Haliburton got down on one knee and popped the question, and she said yes.

Photos and videos of the special moment quickly went viral across social media, with fans and fellow athletes congratulating the couple. In a touching post, Haliburton wrote:

“From Cyclone days to forever. You’ve had my back since the beginning — now it’s official.”



The couple has been together for several years, with Jones frequently seen supporting Haliburton courtside during games and celebrating his many career milestones, including his recent back-to-back All-Star selections and his leadership role in taking the Pacers to the 2025 NBA Finals.
