Pop star Sabrina Carpenter has delighted fans with the surprise release of the deluxe edition of her acclaimed album, Short n’ Sweet, on February 14th, 2025. This expanded version introduces five new tracks, most notably a reimagined rendition of her chart-topping hit PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, featuring the legendary Dolly Parton.
The collaboration with Parton offers a fresh country twist to the original pop track, blending Carpenter’s contemporary style with Parton’s iconic country sound. The accompanying music video, co-directed by Carpenter and Sean Price Williams, pays homage to classic Americana, showcasing the duo on a spirited road trip that culminates in a playful police chase.
Carpenter expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, “Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!!” on her Instagram.
The deluxe edition of Short n’ Sweet also features additional tracks: 15 Minutes, Couldn’t Make It Any Harder, Busy Woman, and Bad Reviews, each exploring diverse themes and showcasing Carpenter’s evolving artistry.
This release follows Carpenter’s recent success at the Grammy Awards, where she secured two awards, further cementing her status in the music industry.
