Selena Gomez is expanding her powerhouse brand Rare Beauty into the world of fragrance, announcing the debut of her first-ever perfume collection, set to launch exclusively at Sephora on August 7th, with early access via the Sephora mobile app starting August 6th.

The star of the collection is Rare Eau de Parfum, a warm and decadent scent that blends creamy caramel, pistachio, rich vanilla, spicy ginger, and earthy sandalwood. It’s a bold yet inviting signature fragrance that echoes the soulful elegance and authenticity Gomez is known for.

But this is more than just a single scent, it’s a fragrance experience.

To accompany the perfume, Rare Beauty is introducing Fragrance Layering Balms, a set of four scent primers designed to be worn under the Eau de Parfum or on their own. The balms allow users to personalize their scent by mixing and matching according to mood or moment.

The Layering Balms:
• Woody Oak: Earthy and grounded, with oakmoss, patchouli, and dry woods
• Floral Peony Blossom: A soft yet sultry blend of freesia, peony, and musk blossom
• Amber Vanilla: A warm, addictive combo of vanilla, candied amber, and bergamot
• Fresh Bergamot: Crisp and energizing with bergamot, green tea, and cedarwood

Selena Gomez called the line “deeply personal,” explaining that fragrance has always been a part of how she expresses herself. “I wanted to give people the tools to create something that feels like them,” she shared via Rare Beauty’s official Instagram.

With its signature messaging around self-expression and self-love, Rare Beauty’s fragrance launch marks a bold new chapter for the brand—and fans are already buzzing about the possibilities.
