Farmhouse Productions has officially announced the YouTube premiere of SERWAA, a spin-off of the iconic Ghanaian series YOLO (You Only Live Once). After first debuting exclusively on the Farmhouse app in 2023, Serwaa will be available to a wider audience on YouTube starting June 27th, 2025.

The show follows the compelling story of Serwaa, portrayed by Fella Makafui, who reprises a more mature and layered version of her breakout role from YOLO. With the tagline, “She was just a village girl until the city called. What happens when innocence meets ambition?”, the show promises to explore the complexities of growth, temptation, and survival in the city.

Billed as “not just a name, but a story waiting to be told,” SERWAA dives deep into the personal and social challenges young women face in modern Ghana. The series blends drama, culture, and real-life lessons in a way that continues the legacy of Farmhouse’s socially conscious storytelling.

Joining Fella Makafui in the vibrant cast are music heavyweights Shatta Wale and Medikal, alongside rising talents like Fahim Dumba, James Kwayisi, Nana Yaw Addae, and Wesley Kesse. The show also features performances from Clemento Suarez, Grace Aduley, Elijah Tweneboah, and more.

Behind the scenes, SERWAA is backed by an experienced creative team. It is executive produced by Ivan Quashigah and Fella Makafui, with writing led by Selassie Kwadzokpo Yaw.
