Rapper, songwriter, performer and all-around entertainer, JBee, has been called many names and credited to many things but one constant is how he's used music to transform his life and share his experiences and stories with the rest of the world. Life in the music industry is not easy but with the correct strategy, determination and attitude, you can carve your own path to the top.
That has been the path of Ghanaian-born, UK-based artiste, Jbee, who is establishing himself as an artiste. Jbee developed an interest in music while growing up in a Ghanaian home where music was always booming from the speakers. Unlike many teenage music fans who imitate their favourites, freestyling was not just a phase for him.
JBee possesses exceptional abilities that deserve to be heard by the rest of the world. Taking advantage of the tools and relationships he has with musicians such as Guilty Beatz, he began learning how to write and record his own songs. Years later, in 2021, he would release his breakthrough hit 4AM. The record would go on to do incredibly well across music platforms, establishing Jbee for a strong start to his career.
Despite the fact that he is still in his early stages, he has a performance at the 02 Brixton, an official UK charts song that charted for weeks, a wireless performance, many appearances on major UK radio stations and a MOBO nomination for Best Newcomer.
He has already started 2023 on a high note, collaborating on the song Scar with fellow Ghanaian musician, Gyakie. With the song already making waves on TikTok, it is expected to be one of the most popular songs to come out of the country this year. With the enormous response the song has received in its first week, 2023 will be another year in the books for Jbee.
