National Geographic has announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated new documentary series, POLE TO POLE with Will Smith, which follows the award-winning actor on an unforgettable journey across the planet. The series is set to debut on January 13 at 9/8c p.m. with streaming available on Disney+ and Hulu.
In this ambitious adventure, Will Smith travels covering 100 days across 7 continents. Throughout the journey, he explores some of the most extreme environments on Earth while joining leading scientists who are conducting groundbreaking research at the frontiers of climate, nature and human endurance.
The series captures dramatic landscapes, dangerous terrains and intimate moments of discovery as Smith engages with experts studying life on the edge of the world. From icy poles to scorching deserts, POLE TO POLE aims to offer viewers both a cinematic experience and an urgent reflection on the state of the planet.
The project continues Smith’s ongoing partnership with National Geographic, following previous acclaimed series that blended adventure, science and personal storytelling.
