Ghana has been drawn in Group C for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set for later this year.

The group consists of Cote d'Ivoire, Somalia, Gambia and Ghana for the qualifying stage of the African tournament to be held across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

After failing to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, the Black Stars will be hoping to make a comeback to secure their spot this time around.

The four-time African Champions did not only miss out in the 2025 edition but were also eliminated in the qualifiers of the previous two.

The opening two matches are set for September 21 to October 6, 2026 under the FIFA window. Match days 3 and 4 are scheduled for 9 to 17 November, 2026.

The final two rounds of matches for the tournament will take place from 22 to 30 March 2027.
