Black Sherif's Producer Joker Nharnah Announces Debut Album
Joker Nharnah

Music producer Joker Nharnah has revealed that he is preparing to release his first producer album, marking a new chapter in a career that has largely been spent behind the scenes creating hits for other artistes.

Speaking on the Big Convo segment of Culture Daily on 3Music TV and Pluzz 89.9 FM, the producer said the project is expected next year and will feature a number of musicians.

The announcement is one of the few times Joker has publicly discussed plans to release a body of work under his own name.

“I’m working on myself,” he said when asked about his next step in music.

Asked whether fans should expect a Joker album, he replied: “Yeah.”

He said the project is unlikely to be released this year, adding that he is targeting next year instead.

Although he declined to reveal a complete list of featured artistes, he mentioned AratheJay, Kojo Blak and Freddie Gambini among musicians he hopes to work with on the project.

The producer has become one of Ghana’s most sought-after beat makers through his long-running collaboration with Black Sherif.

Their work together includes Kwaku The Traveller, one of the biggest Ghanaian songs to gain international attention in recent years, as well as tracks such as Soja, Oil In My Head, Toxic Love City and Lucky.

Despite his growing reputation, Joker has maintained a low public profile, rarely granting interviews or speaking about his work.

During the interview, he said his focus remains on developing his craft rather than seeking attention.
