At the 2025 MOBO Awards, held on February 18th at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, British-Nigerian artiste Darkoo achieved significant recognition by winning both Best Female Act and Song of the Year for her track FAVORITE GIRL, featuring Dess Dior.  

FAVORITE GIRL has garnered widespread acclaim for its infectious rhythm and compelling lyrics. Her dual victories at the MOBO Awards underscore her artistic versatility and the impact of her work over the past year.
