Ghanaian AfroSoul and RnB sensation, Darkua, is kicking off the year with a bang, dropping her latest single, SAY MY NAME. Following the success of her 2023 hit ECHO, Darkua solidifies her position as the face of RnB in Ghana with this soulful track.
SAY MY NAME is a nod to 2000s RnB, infused with Darkua's unique style. The production credits for this captivating single go to Gv Made It, High Jam, and Albert Keyz, the talented keyboardist. The song captures the essence of breaking free from a dishonest lover, expressing both a wish for the best and a tinge of spite. "It gets better, I'll be better. I pray you say my name when you spread her."

Sharing her thoughts on the track, Darkua expressed, "RnB music holds a special place in my heart. While my debut single AMALELOR already had an Afro RnB touch,SAY MY NAME allowed me to fully delve into the RnB genre. Listening to artistes like Jorja Smith has inspired me, and I believe RnB is gaining the recognition it deserves in Ghana. I'm ready to take the lead and leave my mark in the RnB scene. In terms of production, I meticulously crafted the record, collaborating with two producers and a keyboardist to bring my vision to life. I'm thrilled with how the final product turned out."

Darkua's remarkable talent as a singer, with her enchanting voice and R&B influences, combined with her skill as a songwriter, delivering meaningful and relatable emotions through her lyrics, shines through in SAY MY NAME. This latest release showcases Darkua's prowess and sets the stage for her continued ascent in the world of RnB.
