DJ Khaled is officially in album mode, and as always, he’s making it a grand spectacle. The We the Best mogul has announced his 14th studio album, AALAM OF GOD—which translates to “the word of God” in Arabic—through an intense, cinematic seven-minute trailer directed by Eif Rivera.
The blockbuster trailer, released on Tuesday, Feb. 4th, showcases Khaled in the middle of a high-stakes heist, desperately protecting the files for his upcoming album. As assailants attempt to steal the project from his briefcase, Khaled finds himself double-crossed by Anthony Ramos, who holds him at gunpoint after what seemed like a friendly lunch at a Jamaican spot.
The clip closes with an unreleased song, possibly titled GOD IS ON OUR SIDE playing in the background. Khaled then hints at a major collaboration by declaring, “Send Rihanna the record.”
Scheduled for release later in 2025, AALAM OF GOD will mark Khaled’s 14th studio album, following his hit-packed discography. He described the project as “not my last album, but my Black album,” drawing inspiration from Jay-Z’s classic THE BLACK ALBUM
With an action-packed rollout, massive collaborations in the works, and a star-studded trailer featuring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos, Khaled is once again proving that when he’s in album mode, it’s an event like no other. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the full tracklist and an official release date.
