Ghanaian producer and Hiplife artiste FimFim was at the 3Music Studios on Friday 20th October 2023 where he joined Lerny Lomotey and the culture squad on the Culture Daily show. He performed a few of his songs including the very notable BOASIAKO on which he acknowledged Ghanaian hiplife legends and their contribution to the Ghanaian music scene.
In his conversation with the culture squad he touched on his absence and return to the music scene citing his new project as an avenue for him to redefine himself bringing out his true nature as an artiste. According to him, the years passed have been marked by exploration of both his sound and lyrical prowess which have led to the rediscovery of himself. He mentioned that his new project was an embodiment of the artiste that he has now become, taking inspiration from all his experiences on his journey.
Speaking on his project BOASIAKO, he explained that he was offering himself as a sacrifice for the resurrection of hiplife, ie. An offering to drive people to fall back in love with the Ghanaian Hiplife sound and to revitalize it.
