Jennie, renowned member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, has made a monumental impact with her debut solo album, RUBY. Released on March 7th, 2025, the album achieved over 1 million global sales in its first week, marking Jennie’s successful transition to solo artistry.  

RUBY showcases Jennie’s versatility, featuring collaborations with artists such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. The album spans various genres and includes tracks in both English and Korean, reflecting Jennie’s diverse musical influences.  

The album’s commercial performance has been impressive across multiple markets:
United States: Debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 26,500 copies sold in the first week.  
United Kingdom: Reached No. 3, making Jennie the highest-selling Korean female soloist in first-week sales in the country.  
Australia, Belgium, Korea, and New Zealand: Secured the No. 2 position.  
France: Entered at No. 4.  
Japan and the Netherlands: Placed at No. 5.  
Germany: Achieved the No. 6 spot.  
Switzerland: Debuted at No. 9.  

In support of ‘Ruby,’ Jennie embarked on a promotional tour titled The Ruby Experience, with performances in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul. The tour received critical acclaim for its innovative production and Jennie’s dynamic stage presence.  

Jennie’s achievement with RUBY not only underscores her global appeal but also sets a new benchmark for K-pop artistes venturing into solo careers.
