Actor, politician and philanthropist John Dumelo has marked the birthday of Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, with a significant act of charity aimed at improving healthcare delivery in his constituency.
In a post shared on social media, Dumelo expressed deep appreciation to the Lordina Foundation, led by Mrs Mahama, for its continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. According to him, the Foundation donated a wide range of medical equipment intended to strengthen healthcare services in under-resourced facilities within Ayawaso West.

To ensure the items benefit residents directly, Dumelo presented the donated equipment to the Mempasem Clinic in East Legon. The gesture, he noted, forms part of ongoing efforts to uplift the standard of healthcare and support local health centres that often struggle with limited resources.
“My heartfelt gratitude to the Founder and President of the Lordina Foundation for the generous donation of medical equipment which will help enhance healthcare services in under-resourced facilities within my beloved Ayawaso West,” he wrote.
“God bless you so much, Her Excellency.”
The donation included beds, medical supplies, consumables and essential equipment needed for day-to-day clinic operations. Staff of the Mempasem Clinic received the items warmly, expressing optimism about the impact on patient care.
Dumelo’s gesture adds to a series of community-focused initiatives he has championed over the years, reaffirming his commitment to social development, philanthropy, and public service.
