Stonebwoy’s fan-favorite NON-STOP and Bombamann’s emotive PEACE OF MIND also vied for the coveted award, alongside other top tracks like PRAISE by Kwaku Flick featuring Rocky Dawuni, and Samini's heartfelt SAN BRA.Other big names like Epixode with his song STUBBORN SOLDIER Shatta Wale's fiery anthem THEY WILL KNOW, and DSL with TRUTH added to the heat of the competition, each track showcasing a unique flavor of reggae and dancehall.
Kofi Kinaata’s EFFIEKUMA LOVE resonated with voters and the audience, earning him the well-deserved win and solidifying his position as a force to reckon with in the Ghanaian music industry. His ability to blend lyrical prowess with catchy rhythms continues to set him apart, and this latest accolade only adds to his growing list of achievements.
The Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year category was truly one of the night’s highlights, serving as a reminder of the rich talent pool within Ghana's music scene and the continued evolution of the reggae and dancehall genres.
