THE LEGEND OF AKU SIKA
The National Theatre is set to host a thrilling new production, THE LEGEND OF AKU SIKA, which is Naa Ashorkor’s directorial debut and written by Professor Martin Owusu. The play, which opens on June 1st, tells the captivating story of Aku Sika, a young woman born with a hand deformity, and her quest for acceptance and love in a society that often shuns what it doesn't understand.

The play, which runs from June 1st to 9th, promises to be a highlight of the theatrical season, with shows at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day. The production features an impressive cast, including the National Dance Company, National Drama Company, and the National Symphony Orchestra, as well as a standout performance from Adomaa Adjeman in the lead role.
