Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have released their collaborative album, I Said I Love You First, on March 21st, 2025. This 14-track project delves into their personal journey as a couple, featuring guest appearances from artistes like Gracie Abrams, J Balvin, and Tainy.

The album traverses various musical styles, including pop, Latin pop, and hyperpop. Notable tracks include Call Me When You Break Up, a collaboration with Gracie Abrams, and Ojos Tristes, which incorporates elements from Jeanette’s 1981 song El Muchacho de los Ojos Tristes.

Critics have offered mixed reviews. The Associated Press praised the album for its guest artiste features and genre experimentation, while The Guardian criticized it for lacking a clear identity and memorable songs.

Fans have noted lyrical similarities between the track Younger and Hotter Than Me and Taylor Swift’s All Too Well, suggesting a possible homage. Taylor Swift acknowledged these parallels and expressed support for Gomez’s new release.

The album is available for streaming on platforms like Apple Music and for purchase through Gomez’s official store.
