On May 5, 2025, hip-hop legends Fat Joe and Jadakiss announced their bold entry into the podcasting world with JOE & JADA, a new show produced by The Volume and Roc Nation, set to shake up the industry with their unfiltered takes on music, sports, and culture. The New York rap icons, known for classics like LEAN BACK and WHY, bring decades of friendship and industry expertise to the mic, promising a dynamic blend of candid commentary, exclusive interviews, and untold stories.

With episodes dropping twice weekly on YouTube and major audio platforms starting this week, the duo aims to leverage their authentic voices and deep cultural roots to create a podcast that stands out in an increasingly crowded space. “My brother Jadakiss and I will be delivering a podcast experience like none other,” Fat Joe declared in a statement, emphasizing their mission to “shake up the podcast game and set a new blueprint.”

The JOE & JADA podcast is poised to capitalize on the duo’s natural chemistry, forged through years of collaboration on tracks like JOHN BLAZE and Ja Rule’s NEW YORK, as well as their unforgettable 2021 Verzuz battle moment where Jadakiss’s performance left Fat Joe hyping his friend’s elevated booking price. Jadakiss highlighted their long-standing bond, noting, “We’ve been friends for a long time, so we have the right chemistry and foundation to make this a really special show.”

The show will feature guest appearances from athletes, actors, and celebrities, adding star power to discussions that promise to dive beyond surface-level hot takes. Produced by Colin Cowherd’s The Volume and backed by Roc Nation, the announcement has already generated buzz significant buzz, with fans anticipating Fat Joe’s storytelling flair and Jadakiss’s sharp wit, though some express skepticism about Roc Nation’s involvement potentially curbing their raw honesty.

As veterans of the hip-hop scene, Fat Joe and Jadakiss are no strangers to media, with Fat Joe having hosted Fat Joe Talks on Starz and the Coca Vision podcast on Tidal, while Jadakiss’s lyrical prowess has long made him a fan favorite for insightful commentary. Their decision to join forces for Joe & Jada reflects a broader trend of hip-hop artistes entering podcasting, following the likes of N.O.R.E. and Cam’ron, but the duo’s promise to deliver “unfiltered analysis” and “versatile interviews” sets high expectations.
