THE GOOD LIFE Actress Dame Penelope Keith Dies At 86
British actress Dame Penelope Keith who starred in the popular sitcoms, The Good Life and To The Manor Born has passed away at age 86.
According to credible sources, Keith was battling cancer and died peacefully at her home.
A statement released on behalf of her family on Monday, June 29 said; "We are deeply saddened to announce that Dame Penelope Keith died peacefully whilst living with cancer at her home in Surrey where she had lived for more than 50 years.
"The family is grateful for the care and support she received throughout her treatments, and ask that their privacy be respected at this time."
In To the Manor Born, she portrayed Audrey Fforbes-Hamilton, the former lady of the manor, and in The Good Life, she played snobbish neighbor Margo Leadbetter.
