Fat Joe Sued for $20 Million by Former Hype Man Over Alleged Exploitation and Abuse

The long-standing professional relationship between rapper Fat Joe and his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, has taken a dramatic turn, as Dixon has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the Bronx-born artiste.

According to court documents reviewed by Complex, Dixon who claims he worked with Fat Joe for over 16 years—accuses the rapper of a range of serious offenses, including coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday, paints a troubling picture of alleged mistreatment throughout Dixon’s tenure with the hip-hop veteran.

While Fat Joe has not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit, the allegations have sparked widespread attention online, raising questions about power dynamics and accountability in the music industry.
