GES To Announce Shortlisted Recruitment Candidates On July 20

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that the shortlisted applicants for the current recruitment process will be made public by July 20, 2026, and those who are selected are expected to start working on August 31, 2026.


A statement by the Deputy Director-General (Management Service), Prof. Smile Dzisi issued on Tuesday, June 23, detailed the timeline for the completion of the hiring process. 


The Service noted that it is assessing all received applications to ensure the applicants meet the outlined eligibility requirements in the recruitment advertisement and a review of the applications should be completed by June 30, 2026. 


Shortlisted candidates after the review process will be published on July 20.


Successful applicants will then go through district and regional onboarding procedures.


Prior to the official assumption of duty date, the onboarding procedure is set to take place from July 20 to August 31.


All successful applicants will have to report their posts on August 31, 2026. 


Management of GES extended their gratitude to all applicants for expressing interest in the recruitment process in the education sector.
