NDC Names National Headquarters After J.J. Rawlings

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has renamed it headquarters in Adabraka - Accra after former president and founder Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings. 


An unveiling ceremony at the headquarters to be held on Monday, June 22, will see the official renaming of the facility which will now be referred to as Jerry Rawlings House.


Led by President John Dramani Mahama, the move is to immortalize the founding father on his 79th birthday and five years after his demise. 


The ceremony is part of events marking the former president's 79th birthday and it is being organized in collaboration with the J.J. Rawlings Foundation
