British singer-songwriter, RAYE, has officially announced her highly anticipated second studio album, titled This Music May Contain Hope, which is scheduled to arrive on March 27, 2026 via her independent label, Human Re Sources.
The announcement comes as RAYE continues to build momentum following her successful debut album My 21st Century Blues (2023), a critically acclaimed project that spawned hits like Escapism and earned her widespread acclaim in the UK and beyond.
This Music May Contain Hope is described as a deeply personal and concept-driven project, structured around four metaphorical “seasons” that represent a journey from darkness to light. The album’s 17 tracks include the smash single Where Is My Husband! span emotional landscapes of pain, resilience, healing and self-discovery.
RAYE has shared that the music on this album functions like “medicine” for herself and listeners alike. Intended to offer comfort and inspiration during life’s more difficult moments.
The announcement arrives while RAYE is actively on her This Tour May Contain New Music headline tour, which launched in January 2026 and spans Europe and North America. The record’s lead single, Where Is My Husband!, has already struck a chord with fans and climbed charts in several territories.
The new album’s rollout strategically aligns with the tour, building excitement with both live performances and pre-orders now open across digital and physical formats.
After breaking through as one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary artistes with accolades including BRIT Awards and multiple Grammy nominations, RAYE’s second album is poised to further solidify her artistic vision and global appeal.
