Rita Dominic, Genoveva Umeh And Onyinye Odokoro
EbonyLife Studios has announced a new Netflix series titled Baby Farm, featuring prominent Nigerian actresses Rita Dominic, Genoveva Umeh, and Onyinye Odokoro. The series delves into the dark world of infant trafficking, following the harrowing journey of Adanna, a young pregnant woman who becomes ensnared in a sinister baby farm operation. 

The ensemble cast also includes Joseph Benjamin, Langley Kirkwood, and Jenny Stead. The series is part of a slate of five female-led Nollywood projects set to debut on Netflix in 2024, as announced during the ‘Her Voice, Our Story’ event on International Women’s Day. Dorothy Ghettuba, Netflix’s Director of Content in Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with leading female creatives to bring culturally resonant stories to the platform.

Filming for Baby Farm concluded in late February 2024, and the series is currently out on Netflix.
