Sabrina Carpenter, the Grammy-winning pop sensation, has taken Fortnite by storm with her Dance With Sabrina Jam Stage Experience. Announced by Epic Games, this interactive music event within Fortnite Festival Season 8 invites players to join Carpenter’s virtual avatar on the Festival Jam Stage, matching beats to hits like ESPRESSO and BAD CHEM.
Players with the highest heart meters can take on roles like Dance Leader, Special Effects Pro, or Video Artiste for the next song, with top performers appearing alongside Carpenter in a finale snapshot.
Carpenter’s Fortnite journey began in April 2025 with her Season 8 Icon role, introducing skins inspired by her Short n’ Sweet tour, including a yellow embellished bodysuit and babydoll dress, plus emotes for TASTE and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Her presence has shifted the game’s vibe, with players in Sabrina skins opting to dance rather than fight. The BAD CHEM Jam Track and Emote, available in the Fortnite Shop, further amplify her influence.
Carpenter’s collaboration reflects Fortnite’s growing fusion of music and gaming, following artistes like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott. Emily Levy, Epic Games’ Director of Music, emphasized the event’s celebration of fan energy, inspired by synchronized dance emotes in matches.
The event has fostered community, with players forming dance circles over combat. Technical glitches, like removed emotes, have caused minor fan frustration, but the Dance With Sabrina experience continues to dominate, blending pop stardom with virtual creativity.
