Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Shirley Frimpong Manso is making her theatrical debut with HONEYMOON HOTEL, a vibrant stage play premiering June 20–22, 2025, at the National Theatre in Accra, as announced by Sparrow Productions. Known for cinematic hits like ADAM’S APPLE, THE PERFECT PICTURE, and POTATO POTAHTO, Frimpong Manso brings her signature storytelling to the stage, blending romance, drama, and secrets in a tale of newlyweds at a luxurious hotel where hidden lies and mismatched expectations unravel. 

Anticipation is highlighted, with fans praising her shift to live performance as a bold new chapter for the award-winning director. The play, written and directed by Frimpong Manso, features a stellar cast including Joselyn Dumas, James Gardiner, Ama K. Abebrese, Adjetey Anang, Andrew Tandoh, Gadede Segbefia, Godwin Namboh, alongside other talents, ensuring a powerhouse performance.
