Michelle Trachtenberg, renowned for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
and Gossip Girl, was discovered deceased in her New York City apartment on Wednesday morning. She was 39 years old.
Authorities reported that Trachtenberg was found unresponsive at approximately 8 a.m. in her residence near Columbus Circle. Her mother made the discovery. Preliminary assessments suggest she died of natural causes, with no foul play suspected. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. 
In recent months, Trachtenberg had undergone a liver transplant and may have been experiencing complications related to the procedure. 
Michelle Trachtenberg began her acting career at a young age, gaining prominence for her role in Harriet the Spy. She later portrayed Dawn Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl. Her contributions to television and film have left a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
