American singer-songwriter Alex Warren has joined forces with ROSÉ of BLACKPINK on a heartfelt new folk-pop ballad titled On My Mind. Released on June 27th, 2025, via Atlantic Records, the song marks a emotional turn as the third single off Warren’s upcoming debut studio album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, set for a July 18th, 2025 release .
Described as a “somber folk-pop and folk rock ballad” that features tender acoustic guitar, swelling horns, and introspective lyrics, On My Mind reflects on lingering thoughts of love after loss. Inspired by nostalgic imagery-like “the way the clouds are painted / A perfect shade of yellow”, the duet showcases Warren’s storytelling matched by ROSÉ’s warm, controlled harmonies.
The collaboration was first teased on TikTok earlier this month, where fans speculated over ROSÉ’s involvement. The reveal sparked a frenzy of excitement online.
The music video, released alongside the single, features symbolic storytelling: Alex Warren peers into a dollhouse with ROSÉ inside, and split-screen scenes evoke feelings of emotional closeness and distance.
You’ll Be Alright, Kid will follow up his 2024 debut EP, Chapter 1, and expand into a full 21-track album that includes previously released hits like ORDINARY and BLOODLINE featuring Jelly Roll. The new single’s release builds on Warren’s momentum as an emerging artist with deep audience resonance.
